About

For much more information about me, visit my website at https://laurawaltonlmft.com I am licensed in Arizona and Maine. I offer in-person therapy in Arizona, and online therapy in Maine. “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” — Carl Jung You may feel stuck in trauma, grief, anxiety, chronic stress, or a life transition that has changed your sense of self. Maybe you feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, numb, exhausted, or unable to move forward after something painful or life-altering has happened. You may look like you’re functioning on the outside while internally feeling lost, unsettled, or unlike yourself. You’ve likely tried to think your way through it, yet something deeper still feels unresolved. I work with thoughtful adults seeking trauma therapy, grief therapy, and deeper healing that supports both emotional integration and nervous system recovery. My approach is especially supportive for those navigating the space between who they were before a significant experience and who they are becoming after it. Together, we create space to process what has happened, reconnect with yourself, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. I offer grief and trauma-informed therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for adults in Arizona and Maine. My work helps clients process trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, phobias, stress, sleep issues, emotional patterns, and major life transitions by supporting healing at both the conscious and subconscious levels. Using a blend of somatic therapy, hypnotherapy, trauma-focused care, and integrative approaches, therapy becomes a space not only for insight, but for deeper transformation and healing. I know what it’s like to live through profound loss and keep moving forward. Therapy with me is grounded, spacious, compassionate, and deeply human. This work is not about “getting over it,” but learning how to live, feel, and trust yourself again. Healing often begins by feeling safe enough to slow down, listen inward, and gently reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been overwhelmed, disconnected, or carrying too much alone. Whether you are seeking support for trauma, grief, anxiety, life transitions, or deeper emotional healing, it would be my privilege to see you become who you truly are.
